Women’s Ministry Report

I spent the past year strengthening fellowship and building relationships with the women of our local churches, Sister Districts, and Fellow Associations. At every event I attend, I represent the Progressive District and assess how our women can offer support. These engagements also help shape the content you see on our women’s platform.

Throughout these interactions, many women have shared that they want to be better informed about district activities—and that they would attend more events if they had reliable ways to get there.

Last year, my focus was getting you connected. This year, my focus is getting you there.

Your presence today—whether prompted by an email, text, or social media post—shows that our 2025 goal of “Connected to Communication” was a success. As we enter 2026, the PBMEDA Women’s Ministry is shifting toward “Gathered to Get There.”

Future communications will center on organizing our movement. Expect detailed logistics and travel options for the gatherings you’ve long wanted to attend, including the California State Baptist Convention’s 2026 Mid‑Winter Board Meeting in early March, held in Fresno.

The PBMEDA Women’s Department is coordinating transportation for those interested in attending and has assembled information on registration fees, agendas, hotel rates, and dinner options. This support will extend across State, National, and Global convention opportunities.

This year, we are also introducing Movement for Mission—a travel group designed to help you do more, see more, and experience more. Look forward to mission-focused travel opportunities and guidance to help you become fully “travel‑ready.” Our goal is to make an impact while strengthening our sisterhood.

In 2026, we’re lacing up our boots and hitting the road—embracing Mission and Fellowship together.
